How long will it take for an evaluation?
It usually take about 1-3 working days to do the evaluation and send you an estimate,
if for some reason there is a delay we will let you know. Sometimes there are delays
on receiving, parts pricing & availability information from our distributors- which can add 2-3 days.
How long will it take to repair
my ... ?
Once we have been given the OK from you to proceed and sent payment for the repair(s) it will depend
on what needs to be done to it. If parts are required it will depend on where they have to come from.
We may have them in stock, facilitating a quick repair, or they may have to be ordered. If we can order
them from a distributor who has them in stock we can usually receive them within 1-5 working days.
After we receive the parts, we will finish the repair and ship it back to you with in 1 working day.
Please note: if for some reason we are not able to acquire the parts within 7 working days, we will
contact you to determine how you want us to proceed. You will be give the option of waiting for the
parts or cancelling the repair and receive a complete re fund. Thankfully, those situations are rare.
How much time do I have to make my payment?
We will hold a unit for 30 days after you have received an estimate from us. After 30 days if we have not received your payment, then we will
begin charging a $1.00 per day fee for storage. The key here again is communication. As soon as you know there will be a
delay on sending payment for your equipment you must contact us. We have procedures
which can reduce your storage charges.
What hours are you open?
Our shop hours are Monday-Friday
from 7:00am to 3:30pm PST and 10:00am to 6:30pm EST. Please call during regular shop hours.
What methods of payment do you accept?
You can pay for your repair by Credit card, VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover
and checks, money orders or PayPal.

PO's and Government Purchasing Information.
Terms and Conditions:
Spectronix/projectortrepair.com will only accept Purchase Orders (PO's) from the following
- Government (all 3 levels)
- Hospitals
- Schools, Colleges and Universities
Any item(s) repaired with a PO must be delivered to that institution's place of business. Spectronix/projectortrepair.com will not ship a PO to a residential address.
If you wish to use a PO, please call us for more information and to setup account for a repair.
Please be sure to reference our Invoice number on your PO documentation.
Make your check/money order payable to Spectronix.
If there are no problems found with your unit.
Spectronix. Charges a $35.00 fee to cover the cost of handling and testing to make sure that it is good working order.
return shipping/delivery charges will be additional. To avoid this please make sure that the unit is non functioning, before sending your unit to us.
WARRANTY POLICIES
Terms and conditions of repair
warranty
Read and understand these policies. Your use of our service indicates
your agreement to them. We guarantee the parts and labor provided
in this repair to be free from defects for the specified period of 90 days
from the date you are notified of it's completion. If the parts
we replaced should fail within this warranty period we will replace
the parts at fault at no charge to you. HOWEVER, we will not be responsible
for incidental or consequential charges or damages, nor for transportation
charges to our shop. Date of failure will be deemed to be the
date product is returned to us for repairs. We DO
NOT guarantee other parts which may fail or other defects which may
arise during this period. Under no circumstances will we be responsible
for intermittent or hidden defects which were not specifically listed
as having been repaired.
LIMITED WARRANTY / POLICIES
Spectronix ("projectorrepair.com") warrants that each repair will conform to and function in accordance
with in the written specifications of the original products specs. Limited only to the repair work
performed on the unit and parts that were replaced. Said limited warranty shall apply only to the
first person or entity that had the repair done for personal or business use and not for the purpose
of distribution or resale. Said warranty shall continue for a period of ninety (90) days from the
date of the item was repaired. Spectronix does not warrant that the repair will meet the specific
requirements of the first person or entity that paid for the repair for personal or business use.
Spectronix liability for the breach of the foregoing limited warranty is limited to the repair of
the unit or re fund of the repair cost of the unit, at Spectronix sole option. To exercise the rights
under the foregoing warranty, the unit must be returned at the customer's sole cost and expense, to
Spectronix service center provided, however, that the unit must be accompanied by a written letter
explaining the problem and which includes (i) proof of date of unit was repair; (ii) Invoice number;
(iii) model and serial number of the unit. A return authorization number, issued by the Spectronix,
must also be clearly displayed on the outside of the shipping carton containing the unit.
WARRANTY LIMITATION AND EXCLUSION
Spectronix shall have no further obligation under the foregoing limited warranty if the unit has been damaged due
to abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, unusual physical or electrical stress, unauthorized modifications, tampering,
alterations, or serviced other than by Spectronix, causes other than from ordinary use or failure to properly use
the unit in the application for which said unit is intended.
DISCLAIMER OR UNSTATED WARRANTIES
THE WARRANTY PRINTED ABOVE IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THIS SERVICES OFFERED. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE FACE HEREOF AND THE FOREGOING
WARRANTY SHALL NOT BE EXTENDED, ALTERED OR VARIED EXCEPT BY WRITTEN INSTRUMENT SIGNED BY SPECTRONIX.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT SPECTRONIX LIABILITY WHETHER IN CONTRACT, IN TORT, UNDER ANY WARRANTY, IN
NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE RETURN OF THE AMONT OF THE SERVICE COST PAID BY THE CUSTOMER
AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALLL SPECTRONIX BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THE
COST STATED FOR THE SERVICE RENDER IS A CONSIDERATION IN LIMITING SPECTRONIX LIABILITY. NO ACTION, REGARDLESS
OF FORM, ARISING OUT OF THE AGREEMENT TO CUSTOMER FOR THE SERVICE MAY BE BROUGHT BY CUSTOMER MORE THAN SIXTY
DAYS AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION HAS ACCRUED.
